Trinity Lutheran Church is working to become a congregation of small groups where individuals are gathered together to be spiritually nourished and strengthened, to provide faithful care for one another, to engage in the spiritual disciplines of Bible study, prayer, fellowship and Christian service.

Each group of 8-10 people is responsible for determining the emphasis and focus of its group life. Groups identify two leaders from among their membership. Those leaders are mentored and cared for by selected and trained leadership coaches within the congregation. Coaches are mentored and cared for by selected and trained division leaders and/or staff members called to serve the congregation.

The first small group of Trinity leadership began meeting bi-monthly in the spring of 2007 to determine the specific vision and mission of small groups for the congregation.
